Ottawa concert venues, from 18,000 seats to 300

Where a show is playing tells you a lot about the night you'll have. Here's every major Ottawa stage, roughly largest to smallest.

Updated October 2026 · How we make money

Canadian Tire Centre (Kanata)

Ottawa's arena, around 18,000 seats, for the biggest tours. It's out in Kanata, so plan the trip: see our full guide.

TD Place (Lansdowne)

Stadium shows in summer, arena concerts year-round. Your ticket includes free transit there and back. See the TD Place guide.

LeBreton Flats Park

The big outdoor festival site downtown, best known as the home of Ottawa Bluesfest every July. Two O-Train stations are close by.

Hard Rock LIVE (Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, east end)

A newer theatre, about 1,900 seated, booking big-name touring acts and comedy. Good sightlines; you'll need a car or a long transit ride.

National Arts Centre (downtown)

Southam Hall, about 2,000 seats, for the orchestra, Broadway tours and seated concerts, plus smaller halls inside. Steps from Parliament and the Rideau O-Train station.

Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe (Nepean)

A 954-seat mainstage plus a smaller studio theatre, for tribute acts, musicals, comedy and family shows. On-site parking.

Bronson Centre (Centretown)

A roughly 860-person room in a heritage former high school, mostly standing, for touring rock, indie, folk and electronic acts. It's the sweet spot between club and arena.

Algonquin Commons Theatre (Nepean)

A 700-seat room on the Algonquin College campus, for touring indie bands, comedy and tribute shows.

Théâtre du Casino du Lac-Leamy (Gatineau)

A seated casino theatre just across the river, for legacy acts and comedy. Pair it with a night at the hotel next door.

About resale tickets: StubHub is a resale marketplace, so prices move with demand and can sit above or below face value. For a low-demand game, compare with the team's own box office before you buy. For sold-out games and big concerts, resale is often the only way in.

Tips for concert nights

  • Downtown venues (NAC, Bronson Centre, LeBreton Flats): transit or walk. Downtown parking is expensive and fills up fast.
  • Suburban venues (Canadian Tire Centre, Centrepointe, Hard Rock): driving is easier, but leaving after the show is slow. Budget for the exit.
  • From out of town? Book a hotel near the venue, or downtown if you're staying the weekend.
